I was born in Fremont, California in 1991 and I grew up in Napa. Yes, that Napa. I moved to Southern California and graduated from California State University, Long Beach in 2015. During this time, I studied abroad in Italy and that is where I fell in love with travel (and gelato). It was also during this time that I started Roaming Redhead (solely a travel blog at this point). After graduating, I felt like I still had so much more to learn (both academically and personally) so I picked up my life and moved it to Austin, Texas.

Once in Austin, I began to take up blogging seriously while pursuing freelance brand strategy opportunities and my master’s degree at The University of Texas. This is where I fell in love with storytelling. I told stories for brands big and small - from an alternative accommodations giant to a local beauty salon.

After graduating in 2017, I started working for an advertising agency telling stories for brands like Southwest Airlines, Popeyes, Capital One, and the Hilton Hotels & Resorts portfolio.

I have since lived in Germany, Italy and I’ve been to 25 states, 16 countries and counting…
